If you want to transfer thousands of photos and videos to PhotoPrism, it's better to set up Autosync via WebDAV. This way you can keep your local storage in sync with PhotoPrism.

But the gallery also lets you upload many files at once – in your local gallery (like Samsung or Xiaomi gallery) select files you want to upload, then click Share and select "PhotoPrism Gallery" as the destination.

For example, we use Autosync on Android to sync our entire DCIM folders, while on iPad I only upload particular photos via the web app.
