Projected attendee count?

As treasurer I'd like estimates of how many people we expect to attend / tickets we expect to sell so I can budget accordingly

I imagine lots of you would also like to know for other reasons (scheduling, catering, etc.)

I'm not totally clear who's call this is (other than @inglesp's by default!), or what we'd base it on - room/fire capacity is obviously a hard limit, and from a financial perspective "as many as possible" is good for revenue, but there's quality, logistical, catering etc. concerns too

Last year we had (https://pyconuk-2016-internaldocs.readthedocs.org/en/latest/2015-in-numbers/#in-numbers):

• 332..."conference tickets"
• 100 "young people"
• 42 "teachers"
• 24 "scientists"
• 24 "DjangoGirls / Transcode"
• 1 "Sprint only"

So 523 in total, 332 in the "main body of the conference" (for want of a better and less exclusionary term)

Some of the 332 were complementary, not many.
