NCAR chapter of the OSDF cookbook

What should go into the first notebook of the NCAR chapter of this cookbook ? I think it should at least include the following:

1. A short introduction to the Research Data Archive.
2. A note about GDEX rebranding
3. How can a user search for a given dataset ?
4. ARCO access and intake-ESM catalogs that use pelicanFS
5. Mention the presence of other catalogs for a given dataset
6. The url for a given intake-ESM catalog
7. How to handle errors

Also, should we only demonstrate access via intake-ESM catalogs? Any utility in showing PelicanFS to access individual files?

We can skip 3 if you think it is not necessary. I think there is utility in showing access to individual files using PelicanFS, but this will be taken care of in the first chapter 'OSDF fundamentals'.
