I don't have an iphone to test this on but are you sure this is still correct? - e.g. Chrome's dev-tools (Chromium 57.0.2987.133) mobile view for the Iphone 5 is broken by the -3px:

If it is in-fact correct I assume someone should file a bug up-stream with chrome so that it can render it properly.
