Youtube videos on Google TV devices

Has anyone used this library ok with a low horsepower google tv device or other android set-top box?

I'm finding video to be choppy.

The library is simply using a webview, it should not add any extra overhead. Is the buffering to be interrupted or the playback?

There's a stuttering on the playback. When using google tv dongles I find I can only get to 480. The client tries to jump into a HD720 stream and we're met with fairly regular buffering/playing state changes.

I implemented the recipe to change quality levels and find 480 ("large") plays consistently.

I was just wondering if other folks experience the same issue on android tv devices.
