Hello
First of all, I would like to thank the developer very much for all the work they put into this integration.
I have a SOLIS S6-EA1P4.6k-l battery inverter with an s2-WL-St data logger, and I selected the S6-EH1P during the integration.
I can confirm that it works with this inverter as well. However, there are many settings and entities that I can't use with the EA1p.
That's how I think it should be, but I don't want to make any mistakes. For example, there are also settings and entities for
operating a generator, which isn't possible with the S6-EA1p. Perhaps you can adapt the integration directly for this type.
I must also say that this is the first time I've used MODBUS for any kind of integration, and I'm excited about the possibilities.
Since the EA1P isn't designed for direct connection to solar modules, I used existing entities for the solar-flow that I had already created
in Home Assistant. This also works perfectly. I'm running two Pylontech US5000 batteries on the inverter.
It takes quite a bit of thought to identify the meaning of the settings and entities.
However, I couldn't find one option in Flow. It's the display of the power in watts flowing between the battery and the inverter during charging or discharging. I also couldn't find a graphical representation of the flow between the battery and the inverter (in which direction the current is flowing). Or did I miss something?
In any case, this integration is far better for me than the connection to the SOLIS Cloud, as the data flow and updates are, of course, much faster
and of couse there are more possibilities.
Thank you again for your work and best regards from Dresden, Germany.
Wolfgang Petrich
