Identifying Where Multiple Inverters

Hello, I have set up my Solis S6-EH1P5K-L (master) inverter using waveshare and it is working nicely (connected via the RJ45 RS485 port on the inverter).
I have now ordered further waveshares as I have 3 solis inverters in total (1 string, and 2 hybrids in a master - slave (parallel) configuration.
Is there an easy way to identify which inverter is which ? eg Would "PV1 Power" appear the same for each inverter, or do we need to ask for a feature request to name each device uniquely ?

Good question.

I have not had a lot of people request proper support for multiple inverters, and the ones that did, never reported back.

So lets take it one step at a time, if you have suggestions in regards to the inverter identification, I will be glad to add it.

Thanks for taking the time to reply... Agree, if there is something we can do, lets do it one step at a time.
Key here is to identify individual inverters in a multiple inverter environment (such as mine).
If I had my wish, it would be good to see an identifier that can be populated, so that it appears at the front of each entity.
In my case of a parallel (master slave) set up with string - it would make sense to have MAx then SLx, then for the strings STx_ (x being the individual string inverter number. This could be via a drop down when adding a device (or editing its details) - it would need a default, which could just be INV1_. Drop down could have INV1 as default then you can add to the number, MA1, SL1, ST1 etc
Just my initial thoughts, but something like that would make identification so much easier, especially when looking at the HA screens.
Happy to act as a guinea pig to test anything (I am a novice user, but keen to learn to maximise the usefulness of this)

Perfect. Once you have your devices setup, just create a Issue ticket so that we can track changes. I will add an identification in the meantime to the configuration.

Devices now set up and working for master and slave - Solis Modbus updated with your new changes to allow multiple devices.

I have 3 Solis Inverter 1x RHI 4.6 and two S6-GR1P3.6K connect with a Daisy Chain Cable via S2_WL_St into the Cloud.
All 3 Inverters are in the Cloud.
I use two Waveshare Device like this, all Data goes over the Waveshares in the Cloud.

Over the Ip Address of the Server Device are all in HA readable, with its Modbus ID.
But only one of them.
The Ad Devices Button says its already configured on the same IP Address
