Change of device ip-address

I have changed the ip of the waveshare device used. Is there a way to change the ip-address of the device in HA without deleting and adding a new device?

Unfortunate there isn't. I had to reinstall the device. If you don't change the inverter_type then the sensors will re-appear.
While doing I used a DNS instead of IP-address to prevent the need for a static IP-address.

Select http://your ip:8123/config/integrations/integration/solis modbus
then in the tab next to configure press 3 dots, select Rename and there is the IP address of the modbus converter
