Force Data update

I wonder if it's the intended behavior, that not all entities are updated when you press the button force data update.
For example, I turned on the climate this morning. Then I left for work and it went unknown, like intended. Now I came back home, parked the car and the climate is off. It still shows on and even after I pressed the button to update the data it still is on.

Sorry, just seen this (I need to somehow turn on notifications!). It should show the correct climate state. Did the Tesla app show the climate off? How long did you wait for the sensor to change? Did you try the Wake up button?

That's not a problem at all :)
The Tesla app showed the climate off. It didn't change until now. I have not tried the wake up button, because it was charging at that moment.
But I have checked one more time. Situation is: climate status shows "on". I hit the wake up button, status of "asleep" changes to "off". Climate still shows "on". I hit the force data update button, waited five minutes, climate shows still "on". So I checked in the history.
That looks weird to me. I thought the car stays awake for like ten minutes when it was woken up. But in the history it seems, it has gone to sleep shortly after the force data update button, 48 seconds after the data update button to be precise. The second try went in similar manner.

Have you double checked with the Tesla app? And have you tried waking the car rather than forcing the data update? The force data update does one scan and perhaps it fails first (and in this case only) time while waking the car will scan more. Also the car does often seem to go to sleep quite quickly. I'm trying to replicate but finding it hard!

Yes, I checked with the Tesla App. Car was awake and climate was off.
By the time of writing, the car isn't asleep (it's charging) and the climate still shows on. In the Tesla app it shows the climate as off

Ah! You're looking at the switch! You have to look under Sensoren. One is switch.tesla...climate and the other is binary_sensor.tesla...climate.

Sorry, should have said that right in the beginning. Another thing learned, to be more precise :)
If I look at the binary_sensor entities of the Tesla, there is no climate sensor. Is this possible? If there will be a binary_sensor, is it possible, that the switch also alters it's state, if the sensor does?

Sorry, silly me, I'm getting ahead of myself. The sensor is in the next release and is in my local dev. I'll update dev on github this afternoon as it seems to work. I'll let you know as soon as it's there.
