need help importing this lib into my project

hi, i imported it, but it is not giving me expected syntax autocompletion...

i am getting this:

(i got this by using an online tool to convert the .ts file into .js, but it causes other errors...)

unless I'm missing something, you don't need to convert the .ts into .js, it's done for you at https://github.com/Patashu/break_eternity.js

I'm not sure why it's not autocompleting though.

Yeah i did that self conversion myself just because the normal .js files did not give me autocompletion for the syntax.

I tried all the js files, and none of them will give me auto syntax completion.

What am i doing wrong? Can you maybe try to import the .js files into a .js module yourself and take a look if you can get it working? Maybe it works for you and you can let me know the steps, so i can make sure i am not doing anything wrong. 🥰

Another idea i had was to try and just convert the index.d.ts, and just import that as an .js module, but converting that to jsdoc has proven too difficult for me unfortunately

nope, just got used to it, no autocompletion in my code editor unfortunately, i just use the developer tools to inspect a decimal object, and see what i can use, or i browse the source file.

What you could try is refactor the base code, so that it doesn't use this weird assignment of functions, and instead uses normal way of implementing the methods.

Or alternatively write your own type interface for everything of the base class. That might be the easiest way. Jsdoc to the rescue.

In that case you should maybe tell it to implement its own system for larger numbers than js typically allows

Idk if vibe coding would work very well for that, it's not something that has a million examples on stackoverflow. You may just have to... gasp! Debug the code. Yourself.
