In this version the quick controls have been changed to stay always visible once enabled. Another change to the quick controls is that now they are in sync throughout any open windows, meaning that, for example, if you enable Full browser in one window while a video is playing on another, that window will expand the video to fill the browser as well.

This version comes with a new feature:

An update to this announcement has been posted here: #104

As of today the current state of this project is on hold with no ETA and possibly permanently. The concerns that existed before this project even started are becoming a reality, causing complete features from functioning correctly as well as developing new ones. It is sadly a project that is already taxing more on frustration than fun and it is not a rewarding experience at all, at this point reverse engineering this new YouTube update is borderline inconceivable if the objective is to have solid working features, which has always been the goal ever since the previous extension. For half broken extensions there are already plenty of them, I have no interest on developing anything that I am not happy with its performance.

I don't know if I will resume this project, so until that day comes, if it comes, this project is done for.
There will be no support whatsoever for any problems that might arise until then.

This version comes with a new feature that I was working on, it is not complete, but might be useful for those that use it: Quick Controls.

Following the new settings implementation on the previous update, this version comes with a live settings updater, meaning that changing settings from any YouTube tab will reflect the changes on all tabs, with the exception of a few settings that still need to be improved before this can work like all the others, until then a page refresh will have to do just for those.

This update comes with a more "expected" behavior for when users change their settings, be it from a YouTube page or from the Iridium settings page, to any open YouTube pages. The previous problem was restricted to propagating those changes to the other windows from the window the user change its settings, which was causing some "forgetting", quite often actually, of those change settings since the other windows would never receive the new changes unless those pages were refreshed.

Now the logic has been changed to communicate the settings directly to a common channel between all open YouTube windows where Iridium is running, resulting in global-like update of the settings throughout all those windows, regardless from where those changes originated from, "protected" by a broadcast UUID, which I hope it deters any rogue script from hijacking midair somehow (we never know).

Those changes are not reflected on the other pages for now because I want to see how this solution pans out before thinking about adding more bloat to the code that might prove to be unnecessary. Of course this improvement is still under consideration for future versions.
