Would durability affect all sharp items? What about cyborgs that cannot access whetstones nor replace their equipment? |

Removed whetstone changes, they feel unnecessaryily complicated after some thinking. I might rework whetstones but it should be its own pr. Removed the craftman modsuit module after discussion, it's either too strong or unnecessary. Adjusted rest to fit in without the whetstone rework. |

This is the plans I have for a coming smith PR, which adds weapon crafting to the job. Details below.
New smith moulds :
- Add knife and cleaver moulds to the smith vendor, to make better gear for the chef or to cut people yourself.
- Higher quality knife and cleavers are more efficient than the basic ones the chef starts with, getting you slightly more items when cutting meat etc.
- Add whetstone mould to the smith vendor, letting them craft whetstones out of plasteel.
- Add melee weapon moulds, which can be looted on lavaland, bought from cargo crate, or bought for 5 TC on syndicate uplink.
Weapon moulds :
- This pair of mould lets you craft medieval weapons. One mould is for the handle, the other for the head.
- Like other smith items, crafted weapons require both parts aswell as a trim.
- The quality of the weapon slightly increases its combat stats.
- The moulds are legal but weapons are still illegal to carry on station.
- One handed weapons fit on belt, two handed weapons can only be stored on your back.

- Sword (One handed, can parry in melee)
- Battle Axe (One handed, more damage, good throw damage)
- Warhammer (One handed, armor piercing)
- Great Axe (Two Handed, big damage)
- Maul (Two handed, big armor piercing)
- Spear (Two handed, good throw damage, cheaper and faster to craft)
Material used on weapon's trim can have additional effect :
- Glass : Increase damage, weapon will break after some use.
- Plasma : Releases small amounts of plasma in the air when you hit targets. Eventually turns into a regular metal weapon after some use.
- Uranium : Lightly irradiates the holder and anyone hit.
