What about 3.7 branch ?

Hi, glad to see there's still development being done on povray.
Now, I see a stable release for 3.8 is approaching, but...
What about the 3.7 branch ?
Does the code at tag 3.7.1-rc.1 (tagged in middle 2017) still make any sense ? What's the point in the whole 3.7.1 branch ?
And what is the changelog between the recent 3.7.0.10 (middle 2021) and that older 3.7.1-rc.1 ?

3.7.1 has been withdrawn; it is not being developed, and will not be released.
