I'm in the process of building a receiver from scratch, just to keep my soldering abilities from degenerating ;-) and I was wondering if there is a possibility of maximising battery and minimising memory usage. My take is that the TEF chip may need patching in the future.
I want to enjoy DXing (the old way) and not worry about networking stuff (of which I'm doing too much in my 'real life').
