Hello,
As suggested in the title, it would be great to be able to enable or disable this feature on demand in the DX Scanner menu.
I mainly suggest this feature for mobile use: When driving, I set the waiting time per signal to 3 seconds in order to collect the highest amount of signals possible with RDS, and to then make a summary of the receptions in the uRDS section of FMLIST.org.
The issue with the Radiotext logging is that it decreases the amount of logged entries in the logbook CSV, obliging the user to stop more often on a route in order to collect the logbook, clear it from the internal memory and start a new scan session.
With the waiting time set to 3 seconds, the Radiotext logging becomes useless since 3 seconds is not enough to log this kind of data.
However, the Radiotext logging feature is very useful for some people (including the FMLIST.org contributors and editors) since this data is valuable for our database. It would be great to have a way to enable or disable it depending on the waiting time value set by the user, or eventually to automatically enable it from a certain time value (e.g. 13 seconds, which seems to be a good time delay to be able to record Radiotext data completely).
If you need more precisions on the suggestion, please let me know.
Thanks for your consideration,
Lucas
