Can I install opslevel-mcp with npx?

Probably not easily. It's a Go binary. You could probably write a wrapper in javascript to run it, but it will need to be the correct CPU architecture etc

@shaoye - if the issue is with having to download something first maybe you want to use our docker based options. Alot of the MCP client tools will automatically pull docker images for you. I know its not what you asked but just wondering if the heart of the issue is you want turnkey install by just adding the MCP configuration. The container based configuration methods at least in Cursor and Claude Desktop automatically detect your want to use a container image and pull the publicly available image for you.

I had the same question. Having a dependency on Docker Desktop, etc, is not ideal either. The read me is also quite difficult to understand unless you already know how to get it working, especially for Windows, where you need to download a binary and add a path to your environment variables, which is not mentioned.
Maybe a quick win would be to add the ability to install it using winget? Better still, a remote MCP to avoid any of this.
