How to enable CMOs?

Hi everyone, I'm doing a research project about Computer Architectures based on XiangShian Kunminghu. I only know some basics of RISCV processors and I'm finding hard to make CMO instructions work, in particular cbo.flush.
Actually my first problem and question is about enabling CMOs, why is CHI needed to use them?
