Cannot run OpenShot with a valid video from command-line

1. Download OpenShot-v3.4.0.AppImage nightly
2. Open terminal
3. chmod +x OpenShot-v3.4.0.AppImage
4. Change directory to location of a valid mp4
5. Run: OpenShot-v3.4.0.AppImage video.mp4

Expected

OpenShot opens and video is in the list of available items.

Actual
Dialog appears with a warning:

scene-01.mp4 is not a valid video, audio, or image file.

This is incorrect, the video plays just fine from the command-line and when imported into an OpenShot track, it plays just fine.

I am not a Linux expert nor do I know if what you are trying to do is supposed to work. I am going to assign this to the lead developer so he can chime in.

Launching applications from the command-line with an argument of the file (or files) to load upon startup has been a feature of software since time immemorial. I had imagined that OpenShot would add the file to the list of available files to drop into a track.
