Option to move start menu to left independent of moving taskbar

A user pointed out to me that I can move the start button and open-shell start menu to the left by changing the settings for the taskbar. This works, but I would like to keep the taskbar centered and move the open-shell start menu to the left side of the screen as in previous versions of open-shell. Perhaps an option in future release? Thanks.
