What techniques can be used to generate component/package descriptions?
What is right workflow for helper tools?

Objectives:

• Specify recommendations for a repository/directory structure representing a package with a set of components.
• Start from a manually written package description (template) and write a "tool" that collects meta information and replaces iteratively elements in the template.
  -- one version looks at existing CMSIS-Pack
  -- a second version looks at extensions worked on by the WG

Simple regex-based search of #include directives in source files allow identification of include paths and dependencies between files. Such file level dependencies could be mapped to the level of SW components (packs…).
