Thank you for your suggestion to further shorten the period during which submitted notices have the status "PUBLISHING". As you have already noticed, we implemented changes to the TED publication synchronization that took effect on 28 July. The details were announced in our email of 12 June, titled "Adjustments to TED Publication Synchronisation". Best regards, |

First of all I think the recent adjustment of the publication time of notices is very good!
Would it be conceivable to further shorten the period during which submitted notices have the status "PUBLISHING" by moving the switch from "ACCEPTED" to "PUBLISHING" closer to the actual publication time? Or is there a technical necessity as to why the notices have to be in “PUBLISHING” status for a certain period of time?
Background: In the “PUBLISHING” status, notices can neither be stopped nor corrected (via change notice). From the user's point of view, it would therefore be nice if the period were as short as possible or at least completely outside normal working hours.
