The installation procedure and the description seem to make it a tool for Plasma and Dolphin, but the executable can be used separately, can even be run from other locations.

Therefore, it seems it can be used with any file manager on any desktop, and even as an independent renaming tool, run as /path/to/Batch_Renamer.

Isn't that so?
