Can you post a screenshot of the xDrip classic status page? |

It generally says disconnected. It probabkt has been disconnected more than
it is connected overall. If I do I Bluetooth scan in Xdrip it never sees it
but is that because Xdrip has already taken it?
I've turned my phone off and looking for the Bluetooth on a friend's decide
as that doesn't see the libre either.

Libre doesn't show up on BLE scans unless it hasn't connected for about 20

The classic status screen doesn't refresh you'll see it say "not
connected" when the Bluetooth status screen says connected, it updates if
you refresh. Use the Bluetooth status

Software looks OK, OOP2 received one value by Bluetooth Scanning for Libre is an art form. Disable or physically isolate anything that has or could connect to sensor. Wait 20 minutes or so. Then with a BLE scanner app watch for a 2s transmission every 2 minutes. It's easy to miss. Disclosure - I haven't tried this on a 301 series sensor |

I will try and BLE scanner app as that may be useful. At times it can do
quite a lot and other times it just won't do any but there doesn't seem to
be a pattern to it.
I can't see anything that will be connecting to it, there are plenty
Bluetooth devices to go at but I've not connecting to any of them. I will
have another look though.
I realised the sensor was different when the patched app wouldn't scan it,
I suppose that adds extra issues as I didn't try with a previous sensor
version. If I only had the issue now it would be simple but coukd have
happened before too.
Im out and about at the moment and it seems to have kicked in and is doing
a bit. Can't decide if it's just chance or if its away from potential
devices at home.

They can work poorly in crowded places with hundreds of devices especially if connectivity isn't great. I went on a hillside once to see if it improved. |

I had improvement but best I could manage was about 30% of the time, hard to notice the pattern of when it would and wouldn't but did seem better away from home. To resolve things for now I've used juggluco with Xdrip as a libre patched and it's pulled into there perfectly since without a single miss. I will use this for now and try again at another point directly. |

Question: How many Bluetooth devices do you have connected? I saw on my new Fold7 that if I had connected earphones + Galaxy Ring, it worked most of the time (I use Dexcom G7). If it was earphones + Galaxy Ring + Galaxy Watch 8, I had 95–100% missed readings. I suspect this is because the Bluetooth channels on the Samsung were all "taken." What happens if you don't connect to any other devices? Maybe this is a general Samsung problem. |

Hi,
I for many years have always used the patched librelink app with Xdrip and it has always worked flawlessly and never missed a beat.
As of last week with my latest libre 2 + sensors they just wouldn't scan with the patched app, assumed some kind of update. Previous libre 2+ sensors have worked though.
I uninstalled the patched app and began to follow the instructions for Xdrip using the latest librelink and oop2. I downloaded the latest version of each.
I am really struggling as I have tried removing location allowance in librelink, arching the app and deleting it. But in Xdrip I have never really managed to get a Bluetooth connection for more than a few seconds it pretty much always says not connected.
I've found that if I untick trust connect and remove gatt that I get periods of readings, albeit a bit inconsistent, it either works or it doesn't for periods despite it always saying not connected on status. A scan never shows the libre.
I followed the instructions as best I could, but wondering if I initially went wrong somewhere. I have tried unisntalling Xdrip (clearing cache and date before) and reinstalling the latest oops.. Nfc scans are always fine though. Tried rebooting and restarting and forgetting and such. I've tried virtually every bluettoh settings variation in Xdrip that I felt could make a difference but other than the gatt and trust there wasn't improvement.
Any help would be really appreciated, I feel quite lost as I'd become so used to having readings on my.lock screen. Without being dramatic, it has made life that bit more difficult than the routine I was used to.
Thank you for reading.
