Twin-health xdrip connect to Stelo as a companion help #4079

xDrip cannot get readings from Stelo in Companion App mode because the Stelo app does not show an Android notification containing readings. As far as I know, Stelo cannot upload to Dexcom share server for anyone to follow. The only option I can think of is not going to be very easy. |

Yep... That's what I have been doing... Yep... It's tedious...

xDrip cannot get readings from Clarity or upload to it.

You can use xDrip to directly collect readings from Stelo. Once a day, you
will need to disable collection in xDrip and use the Stelo app to backfill
24 hours and upload to Clarity. You cannot use both Stelo app and xDrip as
a collector. So, after upload, you will need to disable the Stelo app. In
this case, you will then have to wait 15 minutes before enabling xDrip
again.
As I stated already, this is going to be tedious.

I've used xdrip successfully with G7 sensors and freestyle sensors in the past and been able to get the readings onto my amazfit 5 using watchdrip. As part of this free diabetes program I joined, twin-health, they're giving me free Stelo sensors. The problem is for them to get the readings, from my understanding, I have to use the Stelo app. I'm not sure if I try switching it around and connecting the Stelo to xdrip and the data being shared will work, as they weren't getting the data from my last G7 after I tried linking twin-health to the dexcom account even though the G7 readings showed in clarity. They require linking via phone number if that makes a difference. So I tried getting the glucose readings on my watch by setting xdrip to companion but don't seem to get any readings. I also used the source wizard to try dex-share follower. On dex-share follower I put in the username and password for a follower sub account I created but also don't seem to get any readings.
