I wish there was a way to safely snooze an alert while driving.
Is there any chance we can ask Google to snooze an xDrip alert?

I am able to snooze xdrip alerts while driving by swiping the alerts on my watch. I can also do this if an alarm wakes me while sleeping. No changes required, obviously requires wearing a watch. Is that adequate?

No, not everyone who uses xDrip and drives wears a watch. I am an example of that.

I have tried many times to have Google Assistant snooze an Xdrip+ alert. It has never worked and I don't think will ever work. An Android watch is in fact the most practical way of having a snooze facility close at hand. This is particularly relevant when driving. If you handle your phone in any way while at the wheel and a police officer sees you they will stop you and you face prosecution or as in my own case one of those silly awareness courses. I know that some people ,do not use Android watches but it is the best option, at least for me. Xdrip+ will no longer go onto an Android watch but you can sill kill the Xdrip+ alarm with it. For anyone looking for an Android watch integration and watch face, Michael Pach and Shawn Deraps have come up with an excellent solution.

May be you never read my suggestion. I am communicating with the other xDrip developers and asking for their guidance. I exactly want to add this ability to xDrip so that people can snooze an alert using a voice command without having to touch their phone.
And you are explaining that no one should touch their phone while driving. That's the whole point of my suggestion.
I am looking for a way to add this feature to xDrip.

My apologies, all I was really trying to do was offer you a reasonable chance at a 'here and now' solution rather than trying to communicate with Google who it seems are not particularly open to requests from 'small interest groups' such as diabetics. I am still smarting and feeling a little raw after Samsung and Google removed the facility to have the Xdrip watch face on my watch. I read your comments and hoped that by offering what I had learned from hard experience it might help you in some way. All of this came shortly after holding my phone while driving to kill an Xdrip alarm and getting stopped by a traffic policeman who was not as understanding to my own condition as I might have hoped. I ended up paying for that unfortunate event. I really didn't want you ending up going through a similar ordeal. That really was my only motivation. I was not attempting to appear smug or clever. The condition we share is difficult enough without adding such silly complications.
