A Fork of xdrip or How difficult would it be to alter the code for IOB simulation graph for carbs input and change to Protien with Dr Bernstine Method

Is a fork of xdrip for a carnivor diet available, that replaces carbs with protien. Specificially the Dr Bernstine Method for bolusing for protein, using humilin R. The Good news is Humilin R is already part of the insulin profile. If no fork is available, I'm interested to take matters into my own hands and try to figure it out. I have no programming experience but am willing to learn. Any help APPRECIATED. Would it just be a simple formula change in the code.
