As far as I know, Omnipod 5 is not supported by AAPS yet. Dash is. 5 should be added. But, I don't know when. But, while you are doing that, you can still use xDrip in Companion App mode: |

On May 26th I started with my Omnipod 5 Hybrid Closed Loop system. Fortunately it works fine with my Dexcom G7 sensor and also all glucose readings are, just as before, readable on my Garmin 6x smartwatch. I waited so long to give this feedback, to make sure that it didn't work occasionally. The reason it still works is, according to me, that in the Netherlands we still have to use a Controller to manage your bolus and readings. In for example the USA, you can use a smartphone app for the Omnipod. I think, that when the data from Omnipod to smartphone and at the same time sensor data from Dexcom G7 to the smartphone app Xdrip+ causes incompatibility problems. By using a separate Controller this is not the case. Nevertheless, I hope in future to use an app on my smartphone to control the Omnipod, because now I have to handle and carry 2 smartphones, to manage my diabetes. |

Next week I will start with the Omnipod 5 system. I use now the dexcom G7 and works fine with Xdrip+ in combination with my Samsung S25 ultra smartphone. I love Xdrip+ so much, because it gives me the possibility to show my glucose readings on my Garmin 6X pro smartwatch; not only as a watchface, but also used in all kind of datafields.
On the Xdrip+ support pages I read, that it is not default possible to use the Omnipod 5 in combination with Xdrip+. You should use the Dexcom G7 app instead. But in combination with this G7 app, only 1 watchface is available on the Garmin IQ website, which is absolutely not stable and gives poor information.
So my question is: is it possible to use the Omnipod 5 hybrid closed loop system in combination with Dexcom G7 and the Xdrip+ app or is there another way that I can make use of the glucose readings, so that they can be displayed on my Garmin fenix 6x smartwatch?
All help very much appreciated.
