Reinstall old version

Hello, I tried to install an old version after uninstalling the latest one but I don't see the authcode in the Miband settings. Can anyone help me?

which Miband is it ? 4 and below has support within xDrip+ 5 and above via Watchdrip+ https://watchdrip.org/ check the blog

there isn't a field for authcode in my latest version maybe that appears when it finds the Miband 4

I installed watchdrip but I have problem: after using the phone for a while , the clock is no longer updated even for hours, also Xdrip loses signal, but if restart the phone everything works again. Xdrip and Watchdrip have no restrictions buttery.

For most of the day the watch is completely useless, this reason I wanted to reinstall the previous version which never caused me any problems.

no, that was never supported in xDrip+. https://xdrip.readthedocs.io/en/latest/smartwatch/miband/ "xDrip+ Official Release supports MiBand 2, 3, 4 and broadcast to WatchDrip+ for other smartbands"

If you had xDrip+ connecting direct to Miband 5 it was a modified version by Artem from 2020 https://bigdigital.home.blog/2020/08/25/new-xdrip-now-supports-miband-5/ beware if you change between official and this modified version you can't just install over the top and maintain data.

I was referring to the idea that an older version of xDrip can connect to a MiBand while a recent version cannot. I don't see how that's possible.

xDrip used to address MiBand directly. At some point, WatchDrip was added as a companion app for MiBand. Since then, some newer versions of MiBand have come to the market. Those can only be used with xDrip and WatchDrip in combination.

Which version requires WatchDrip is something you can find out from the WatchDrip support groups.

TNew app connects correctly to the Miband5, the problem is that not only Xdrip lose signal when WatchDrip+ is active, but also WatchDrip+ itself updates the watch intermittently, with the result that I have three blood sugar values: the correct one from Dexcom, one from Xdrip and one on the smartwatch.

So there are three cases:

• solve the problem with WatchDrip+ (this is why I write on his blog);
• use only the mobile phone and throw away the smartwhatch;
• try to install the previous version of xdrip that connected directly to the MiBand ( which I have always used successfully until update).

I don't see how WatchDrip could interfere with connectivity of xDrip to Dexcom.
Can you post a screenshot of the Dex status page in xDrip?

You are using xDrip as a Dex share follower, right?
WatchDrip cannot interfere with Dex share.
