Anything that is behind engineering mode is there for developers only. You say that the pod disconnects. Do you by any chance also have a Dexcom G6 receiver? That could interfere with your pump. |

technical details: Xdrip version (fe9ec2e-2024.11.03) + OnePlus 12R A15 + Omnipod 5 3.1.2-p001 + Dexcom G6
Hi,
I'm a user of AAPS but was proposed to test the Omnipod5 algorithm for 3 months.
My sensor is the Dexcom G6 which I still start using Xdrip+ because I like it and it seemed to work (in the beginning).
The problem I encounter now is that for long periods of time during day and night the Omnipod5 PDM (the "collector") doesn't receive the BGs from the sensor even though I see no signal interruption on Xdrip.
I started looking for answers and I found that a Bluetooth conflict created by Xdrip could be at the origin of this problem. I removed most of the "aggressive" Bluetooth options in Xdrip and I enabled the "engineering mode" because I read that I could fix the BT channel that way.
I started this yesterday morning by fixing the BT channel in Xdrip to 1. The whole day I didn't get any signal interruption on the PDM. But last night at 1am exactly the PDM ceased to receive the BGs. I had alarms the whole night :-( and this morning I disabled Xdrip and then the signal on the PDM came back. Nevertheless when I turned Xdrip back on I didn't get anymore the BGs on Xdrip. But when I changed the BT channel to 2 everything came back to normal and is still running OK as I'm writing.
I have several questions: is it Xdrip that changed it's BT channel from 1 to 2 at 1am or is it the PDM ? If it's Xdrip, is there a way to avoid this change ? Do you have specific recommendations for the BT parameters of Xdrip in order for it to come second (after the PDM) when the sensor broadcasts the BGs ? For the Omnipod5 loop to work, it is important the PDM gets continuously the BGs and has priority over Xdrip and this is what I would like to achieve but I need some help from experts on Xdrip for that...
Thanks in advance for any help.
