You need to enable location. You cannot disable it. |

It then keeps saying "Pairing with device not possible..." , I cannot read the complete message. It did say, too, after enabling the data collector again "cannot pait device , wrong PIN or Passkey" -- of course I checked, in the settings it's exactly the PIN from the applicator, the same it had accepted the first time. |

(I misplaced my G7 receiver so I don't know what that says yet) |

Nono, misunderstanding: I brought out the receiver to see if that would connect to the sensor and with the mentioned PIN, and it did. I was merely ruling out the sensor had gone into some completely undefined state now and is effectively lost. The receiver was not active or even powered up when this all started. BUT: good news, I did a rain dance ( http://www.catb.org/jargon/html/R/rain-dance.html ) and now it works from the phone. I couldn't tell if I did something differently, stopped data collection, waited, enabled location, enabled data src, pairing went through. If uploaded the full logs. |

Started a new sensor on GrapheneOS (A15, the last sensor worked on this setup with these xdrip settings so I think I switched off location service too early shortly after the sensor got coupled)

Tried rebooting the phone, restarting the collector service, nothing. Any idea?
