Import BG from Kakao Pasta app in companion mode via xdrip

I put in that package name, built it, and ran it, and I got my BG well in xdrip(companion mode)

Can't you put it in the code?

It's so difficult to build xdrip. I installed and deleted Android Studio several times...

Correct me if I'm wrong.
Pasta is a software that gets readings from sensors that already have apps from their corresponding manufacturers. For example, Pasta can get readings from Dexcom G7.
But, Pasta does not come with its own sensors.

The idea behind the xDrip's companion app mode is to allow xDrip users to get readings from a sensor that xDrip cannot directly get readings from.

xDrip can already get readings from G7 directly as well from Dexcom app through companion app mode for those who need to use Dexcom app.

Unless those are incorrect assumptions, if we add Pasta, it will be the very first app we have added as a companion app that is not developed by a sensor manufacturer.

The following shows a screenshot from the Dexcom site where they show their partners.

You can see that Pasta is one of them. But, there are so many more.
And those are only the partners of Dexcom.
But, there are many other sensor manufacturers.

How many more companion apps do you think we should add to xDrip?

The official Dexcom app is checked for compatibility during installation, so the app itself cannot be installed .
(If it is installed, I can probably connect the sensor)
I think the pasta app installs the app without such a compatibility check.

If a patch app like Diakem works in Korea, I can just use it, but apps like Diakem also do not work in the Korean region.

Or is this way too hard?
Can't the app provide a way to write the package name, like identify receiver?

I'm not sure why you are mentioning another app here.
Just to avoid causing any confusion for anyone else who may find this thread through search, xDrip can be installed regardless of where in the world you are.

I am not sure we want to start adding all the apps.

I will open a submission. But, I will ask for a decision. I am not the one making the final decisions.

It's been added. You need to update to 2025.02.18.

I was learning GitHub Actions because I thought it wouldn't be possible, but thanks to you, I can use it this way. I really appreciate it!
