one access protocol for fail2ban in the host system

i would like to set up fail2ban for http/https on my host system. for this i need access to the access log of npm. it would be great if i could somehow provide the access log outside the container, as a file. all individual access logs of all existing proxy entries should be merged there. how can i do this?
