Does Nginx Proxy Manager import pre-existing reverse Nginx proxy configurations?

I have already created numerous Nginx reverse proxy configurations and believed that the Proxy Manager could simplify my life with a more visualized overview. However, my dashboard is empty. Are these two services distinct and do they not complement each other?
