Forward Proxy - saving cache

Hi,
I have a number of PCs at home all running tumbleweed. I'm trying to setup a Squid proxy server to cache the repo's update packages so that each PC doesn't have to pull the same packages each time. But I'm failing miserably with squid.conf.

Does ninx-proxy-manager do forward proxying with cached files?
