Finally, I decided to have a try of this nice tool. Unfortunately, I am not able to run the tarball version on Windows 11. I always get this error

C:\Users\chris\Desktop\Zigbee Sniff\ember-zli\bin>ember-zli version
'node' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

What am I doing wrong ?

Hmm, did you try executing from the top folder with .\bin\ember-zli version or with .\bin\ember-zli.cmd version?

Note: Tarballs are provided for convenience (one-off usage) because the CLI tool can auto-build them, but in general, it's easier to use npm (i.e. install nodejs, then install ember-zli via npm), you get easy updating, and no (less...) worries about OS-specific weirdness.

Small update, latest release (2.11.0) is perfectly running on Windows. At least for me

In my test Rpi4, it works great...

Open question partially out of this discussion, any means to recover a Dongle-E flash with an old Router firmware which does not want to connect to an usb port. I guess I flashed a wrong bootloader in the past and it is bricked.
The dongle itself is working as a router, I can not just interact with it via usb

Three different computers and the same output. If you have an idea.... (buy a new one...)

Looks to be something wrong about the comm. Maybe check the USB pads, make sure none are problematic (properly aligned, no corrosion, etc.), if using a USB cable, try another one, same if using a USB hub (make sure to use a powered one).
By different computers, I assume different OS too (eliminate a OS-specific issue)?

Even 4 different computers. Two linux based and two laptops based on Windows 11... Same output.

I directly connect to an usb port and check two cables (one was used to flash an other Dongle-E with router firmware to replace this one), check the USB pads. Nothing special. Alignment is good, no corrosion

On windows, I have Device Descriptor Request Failed.
