This one might also qualify: https://www.dnt.no/dnt-der-du-er/stavanger-turistforening/lokale-aktiviteter/52-hverdagsturer-i-stavanger/ (Someone added "52 Nerdy Day Trips" to the original site, with no link or description, but the search term gives the above link). |

I have been pondering whether we absorb/import data from elsewhere. This was in the context of lists of "National Trust" or "English Heritage" places. They have a lot of interesting castles, gardens to walk around, museums etc. However, when chatting IRL over coffee with @flexiondotorg this week, and we came to the conclusion that it really needs the personal recommendation touch, rather than just farming all the lists in the world. So if the source was originally crowd-sourced, artisinal, bespoke JSON then that sounds like fair game (so long as the upstream is ok). The other thought we had was to put "Imported" ones (from the likes of NT & EH) could be markers of a different colour, disabled by default. That seemed like a decent compromise to me. |

There are other lists out there, or subject-specific attractions. Possibly add a page linking to those? I can think of two immediately: https://www.thebookguide.info (second-hand bookshops), and https://www.pathetic.org.uk (weird bits of motorway in the UK).
