Graham Klyne and others in the workflow preservation project abbreviated as 'wf4ever' (workflow forever; http://wf4ever-project.org) have developed a checklist service that uses a mapping between the Research Object model and a minimal information model. This mapping provides the information on what is considered a must-have, should-have, and could-have for a Research Object.
Possibly the same principle can be applied to evaluate the completeness of a nanopublication. Ideally, the same service can be adapted to create a checklist service for Nanopublications. Graham et al. created a prototype User Interface conform the myExperiment User Interface.
