Runtime crash with exit code -1073740791 (0xC0000409) when loading scenes

When attempting to load any scene (including "munich") using sionna.rt, the process crashes immediately with exit code -1073740791 (0xC0000409). The crash occurs even with minimal test cases and different scene sizes.

If you are using CPU and LLVM in Windows OS, adding this code at the beginning may solve the problem:

import mitsuba as mi
mi.set_variant("llvm_ad_mono_polarized")

Btw, there are still some problems. When loading built-in scenes, sometimes it will be like:

But the scene I created by Blender can work normally.

Without more information on your respective setups, the generic advice I could give is:

1. If using GPU, update to the latest available NVIDIA driver.
2. Make sure that you use the latest version of the scenes (included in the sionna package).
3. In the same virtual environment where you installed sionna, run: pip install --upgrade mitsuba
