Hello,
I’m currently using Sionna v0.19.2 on Windows Server 2019.
As far as I know, the version of TensorFlow used by Sionna does not support GPU natively on Windows, so using a GPU with Sionna requires running it through WSL2.
However, based on what I’ve read, Sionna’s support for OptiX (used for GPU ray tracing) is not 'officially' compatible with WSL2, according to the maintainers. There seem to be some experimental workarounds, but nothing officially verified.
I’ve searched for updates on this topic, but just want to confirm:
Does this mean there is currently no 'officially' supported way to use Sionna’s GPU-based ray tracing on Windows?
Thank you!
