Model Run: Average system size is very low (1.101 kW)

Issue overview

Hi! I've run the dGen model for residential systems in NY state and the average system size is very low (1.101 kW). This seems wrong since the average residential solar system is closer to 6 - 8 kW.

I've run the model without changing any of the input data or parameters. I'm using pre-generated agents.

Do you think this is a bug or is this something I could be doing wrong? Any advice on how to look into this?

I'm curious about what the average system size is when the model is run internally at NREL.

I took a closer look at the code and noticed that the min system size is set at 0.3 (this line).

I may not be fully understanding how the min is used (please correct me if this is incorrect). If this is indeed the min system size bounding, I'm curious about whether a larger value was considered because residential solar systems would not be installed if it's so small.

I'm asking because I'm trying to model the impact of a tax incentive increase and I think the results of that are skewed if the total cost of the system is quite low (from my run, the average system cost is $1,849).

I'm hoping to set a minimum system size of 2 kW. @michaelavs would you be able to suggest changes I should make to the code?

I've updated this line but the system size of agents didn't change:
min_system_kw = min(2, max_system_kw)

I don't have a super deep understanding of the code so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Actually, I'm just going to do this post processing instead of making a direct change to the code!
