Hello all,
Unfortunately, I don't have a Unify controller with NVR yet, but I would like to ask if these nodes can be used to control when and how long the recording from an ONVIF third party camera will be saved? I am considering purchasing a Dream Machine SE (UDM-SE) and connecting Tapo Cameras to it. However, I found out in advance that there is no option in Unify OS to set recording only in case of motion detection for these cameras, so I wondered if there was any possible workaround and I found these nodes that I cannot test yet.
When I was exploring the github repository, I also found changing the camera settings https://github.com/NRCHKB/node-red-contrib-unifi-os/wiki/Changing-camera-settings which could theoretically be used plus a discussion of the settings for the unify camera. However, I would be happy for any information or even real experiences with Third-Party cameras.
Thank you, Best Regards,
Newbie in Unify world, Tomas
