Updating only the status of the node

Hello again!

I switch light bulbs with different switches, but I would like to see the switch's status on my iPhone too. How do I change state of the homekit switch in a way that won't send trough a new request?

What do you have already?

1. Set up HomeKit Switch in NodeRED
2. Pull physical switch state every X seconds and send it's state to HomeKit Switch input.
3. Connect output of HomeKit Switch to action to set state on physical switch

Ok. So when I use a switch (in this case a xiaomi switch) that turn on/off EPS bulb, i programmed it to it send me the status back that I save it in a flow: 0 or 1.

If I try to save the sate of the switch in a HomeKit switch, it would trigger an other action and create an endless loop.

No problem, there is an option in the Bridge to disable input messages to be passed to output.

Uncheck and redeploy.
