Error in one-way nesting and spectral points #1424

Running my two nested models month by month I find no problem, which implies processing the data month by month, i.e., processing only one spectral file for each month. This has made me think that the spectral files generated in the global model are perhaps OK. I also noticed that when I process the spectral files for the regional model using “./ww3_bounc”, well, the program opens all the files, but only processes the first month's file. ![]() Thank you very much for your kind attention and help. |

Dear Cesar, You can provide yearly spectral files in ww3_bounc.inp (or use ww3_bounc.nml for newer version) to run yearly simulation. However, you cannot provide 12 monthy spectral files in ww3_bounc.inp, which is probably your issue Best, Mickael |

I would greatly appreciate your help with the following. I have a problem with one-way nesting and with spectral points.
From my global model, I save some output points in “ww3_shel.inp” which I then process using “ww3_ounp”. The output points have coordinates that are distributed over the open boundaries of the regional model.
Then, in the regional model I use “ww3_bounc” to process the spectral points and create the file “nest.ww3”. After reviewing the simulated significant wave height data in my regional model I noticed that the Hs after one month has anomalous values compared to the field data. I have run the regional model without winds and currents, only with the forcing “nest.ww3”, and it is here, where it happens that I do not understand, when visualizing a time series for the Hs, it looks as if after a month the Hs is “fixed” or frozen, I do not know how to define it (I attach a screenshot below).
I also attach my “.inp” input files for the global model. I would be very grateful if someone can take a look at it and help me understand what is going on.
Thank you very much in advance.
César.
