Failure with geocat interpolation

I'm getting an error in the zonal_mean plots that sounds similar to what I've heard other's talk about before. Documenting it here to give a path to future encounterers. @andrewgettelman recalls it has to do with python versions.

This is on cheyenne, after loading ncar_pylib. Python version is 3.7.0.
I don't see geocat in the 'conda list' output, which is strange.

The error itself:

This is due to CISL's transition from module python & ncar_pylib to the conda npl module. Updating the wiki with the following from
https://arc.ucar.edu/knowledge_base/83853599

module load conda/latest
(if it fails, you might have to module unload python or whatever incompatible package

conda activate npl
