rebase / add option in default version corresponding to feature/split-nonrid-edg-connecting-rid-pts #269
Description
As discussed a while back with INRIA, it would be awesome if the development in feature/split-nonrid-edg-connecting-rid-pts became an option on the default code.
the idea is similar to the nofem option but what it does is in 3d it looks if an element is a corner element and adds an edge that "splits" the face. This helps some codes.
