Labs on Microsoft Fabric on lab environment like ExtremeLabs, have this instruction -
ⓘ Important: Microsoft no longer supports the use of Fabric Trials. MS Fabric has moved away from trial subscriptions to paid fabric subscriptions. This Module requires users to bring their own their own tenant with an active Microsoft Fabric subscription.
Purchase Power BI license in Microsoft 365.
To purchase and assign licenses in the Microsoft 365 admin center, you must be a member of the Global or Billing admin role in Microsoft 365.
My students (and I am sure many others) are not member of the Global or Billing admin role. The cloud credentials provided in the lab environment, DO NOT have admin role. Also we can't force students to buy the license just for couple of hours of lab.
How can trainers and students complete these labs related to Microsoft Fabric?
Note in the lab instrcuctions say "free Fabric trial license"
I created workspace using Pro fabric license. When I create lakehouse, I get following message, although Trial period is active
