Can't Insert Bibliography on LibreOffice

Mendeley version: 1.19.3
LibreOffice version: 6.1.4.2

Mendeley can't Insert Bibliography on LibreOffice. But, Insert Citation is working very well.

I can confirm this problem. The plugin installs without problems and its controls appear in LibreOffice, but they are not responding.

Since Mendeley for Linux is only available at version 1.19.3 I have no chance to compile the lattest source provided here at GitHub.

I started libre office from the command line but did not get any output regarding the plug,

Is there a way other to debug the plugin?

Please remember the importance of this issue. In case the plugin is not functional Mendeley becomes useless for the Linux users.

Experiencing the same issue. Can insert citations but not bibliography.
This makes mendeley unusable for me, I'm going to have to switch to Zotero, but I'd really rather stick with mendeley if possible. ANY UPDATES ON THIS ISSUE?

The issue was caused by lack of /tmp access in Mendeley flatpak which is now fixed. It would be still nice to know if there is possibility to override default /tmp to something else for better sandboxing.

WOrking in Ubuntu 16.04, Libreoffice 6.3.1.2, and MendeleyDesktop 1.19.4. Used to work (I am using Mendeley/Libreoffice for at least 5 years). But I cannot insert Bibliography while I can insert Citation. I do not understand what I need to do to fix the problem. Does anyone have a step-by-step procedure to fix that (in a term)? THX in advance

Thx for your reactivity. Mendeley/LO used to work on my PC with LO installed via Snapd and Mendely via ... I do not remeber. I tryed several ways,, uninstall, purge, even removed snapd. I finally reinstall snapd to install LO: Version: 6.3.1.2 Build ID: libreoffice-6.3.1.2-snap1 Threads CPU : 4; OS : Linux 4.15; UI Render : par défaut; VCL: gtk3; Locale : fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Langue IHM : fr-FR Calc: threaded and for Mendeley, I dowloaded the pkge mendeleydesktop_1.19.4-stable_amd64 from Mendeley website in one of my folder in may Home and used the mendeleydesktop_1.19.4-stable_amd64 command. Both Mendeley and LO need access to network and to /tmp directory in order to inserting bibliography work. It's possible that LO snap blocks /tmp access.

Hi,

Same happened to me, download Mendeleyś Ubuntu version, open the "mendeley-***.deb" file using file roller or similar, locate the extension file "mendeley-1.19.4.oxt" within the location where you expanded the "deb" file. Open Writer->Menu->tools->Extension Manager->click on "Add" open the file "mendeley-1.19.4.oxt" from it was located. Close and reopen Writer.

VERY IMPORTANT: Does not work on LibreOffice Writer installed using Flatpak or Snap (Ubuntu's default installation method!!! You will have to purge them and install from libreoffice.org or using PPA's.
