Question: any list of verified / supported devices

Project looks great! Went through the docs and was wondering, if there are success stories of installation where it works, including pictures of final wiring and setup. I want to order the board and try it out with my M22002-W-02 model, would love to make it work and contribute to such wiki page.

I have just finished connecting the board to the indoor station. I have an indoor station from Busch-Jaeger 83222 U-611 and was able to extend the connections a1/b1, which were already double occupied, with one 3-way Wago (221-413) each. Fortunately, there was still enough space in the flush-mounted box. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the finished wiring, only of the state before.

Hi,
I'm just about to test myself as soon as I get the board. (Will post it here if successfull the type) For the connection what is the right wiring? In the documentation says "Connect the positive wire to BUS+ and the negative wire to BUS-." In this case which one is the positive? A1 or B1?
For the flashing any recommndation which USB to serial converter to use? I've troubles to find one which has all the required pins. :(

@imuncas I don't know which one is positive or negative on your station. My ABB indoor station has a circuit that makes it work no matter where positive or negative is connected. The board for this project has reverse polarity protection so it won't break when you connect it wrong. Just swap the wires if the power LED doesn't light up.

@imuncas Personally I have this red one, but it doesn't provide enough power for the ESP32 so you need to power the board externally. Here are two more (untested) serial converters that have all the required pins and a 3.3V selector: 1, 2. One of the DTR or RTS pins is often on the side of the PCB and the label for it can be on the back of the PCB.

I have also used this serial adapter. Worked well with jumper wires (amazon link) and the adapter delivered enough power in my case (set the jumper to 3.3).

Just an update, I got the device and the serial adapter and all worked like a charm. Most of the default config was matching, only the secret had to be configured. The only struggle I had was the inital flashing, it took several attempts and the Connecting phase took a lot of time. I wish I'd have payed more attention that I have to select singlecore, the default image from the ESPHome Builder will not work. As I missed it, I had to flash twice. Unfortuantelly I can't report the device type I have, I could not find any information displayed. :(

@Mat931 I managed to (with many difficulties due to serial adapter failing to hold 3.3 V, had to use external 12V adapter) flash esp-home and wire the component. So far I haven't been able to catch code for opening doors, but stop ringing button works.
Also, device uses 3 byte addresses, you can update the wiki.
Bit of a pickle - the board can not be fit within the phone due to screw terminal being cca 2mm too high (including soldering drops from the bottom of the board) (see photo). I will figure it out somehow, worst case scenario I will solder cables directly.

UPDATE 06/07:
I've managed to chisel a small ditch where the bottom soldering would fit and the board fit perfectly inside the phone's wall case.
Some protocol findings from an apartment building where we have multiple entries and use key tags alongside the outside doorbells:

• simple switch in front of the flat door that rings a bell (connects two other pins next to A and B) sends 0x20 type message to destination 0x000301 (not sure why)
• outdoor stations with apartment bells have addresses 0x000201 and 0x000202
• outdoor doors next to the stations have addresses 0x000401 and 0x000402 respectively and need sliding door command to open (0x0e)
  • we have more doors in garages with chip station only, I suspect type "buzzer", not sliding, but I was not able to discover them while listening. I suspect it is due to multiple ABB controllers in the control room and my phone is not part of that circuit
• when an RFID key fob is used to open the front door, one type is 0x35 and address 0x001301, and the other 0x60 and address 0x000E01 (I will try to identify if the chip ID is broadcasted):
