Recently, I find typing/ making mind map in basic mode more suitable for medical student in lecture content bcs its help us "ctrl + F" to find our desire content (while mind map in rich mode can't bcs its all about canvas). The only things make me find uncomfortable is the most needed function to me, the related link, only work in rich mode. So I suggest made it becomes a premium function in bacsic mode pls.
