Get project metrics

Get some project metrics making use of SonarQube.

This should have been done as an ongoing process but, the project is in a private repo, so only 14 days to test it were given.

This issue has been created as an Epic due to its potential to generate new issues that will require refactoring the code.
Therefore, those issues will be added here as the metrics are taken. If some of the issues require to be an epic, it will be "upgraded" as required.
